Made a movie!

Date & Tell still

I previously mentioned the 48-hour film challenge I entered. I gathered a team of classmates and friends to write, shoot, and edit a short film in two days. Organized by the Winter Film Awards, this project was a true eye-opening, lesson-filled experience. I enjoyed each step of the process, I applaud my talented team, and I’m pleased with the final result. Can’t ask for much more than that.

Here is the final version of our film, Date and Tell. Please give it a “Thumbs Up” on YouTube as we’re in the running for the audience favorite award. WFA will screen all the films in the competition on Friday (November 21), at 8pm at Blondie’s on the Upper West Side. Show up in person to vote for our film. A vote at the screening counts as four votes online.

Enjoy!

There is so much craziness that has happened this summer. Most days it seems like the media doesn’t rise to the challenge of utilizing its full potential to speak honestly to the world. It’s sad when we have to be thankful that there is still some semblance of sanity out there.
